HUSTLABALL LONDON: Sunday 2nd May

HustlaBall London @ Renaissance Rooms, Vauxhall
Sunday 2nd May 2010

Advanced Tickets @ Gay Go

Get ready for another close encounter of the most intimate kind at this unique “sex cabaret” and mega dance party, with some of the biggest names in the porn and dance industry. After ten years of notorious events in New York City, Berlin, Las Vegas, San Francisco and Los Angeles, HustlaBall will hit U.K. shores in May, injecting London with a heady mix of super decadence and glamour.

The list of participating porn studios is endless, with huge names such as Alphamale Media, XXXAmateurHour.com, Bel-Ami, Titan Media and Chi Chi LaRue bringing pornstars over for the party.

In all, there will be special acts and performers from around the world, and we’re all in for an unforgettable treat. Superstar names such as Barrett Long, Ryan Raz and Junior Stellano will be joined by newcomers from the US, Spain, Germany, France and UK to make for a truly international circuit party to top them all. For a complete list of erotic performers attending the event and more, see www.hustlaball.com.

As ever, HustlaBall’s legendary mix of sex and cutting edge music serves up a night which will appeal to everyone from vanilla disco bunnies to the downright debauched and insatiable. A roster of DJs will be rotated throughout the club, with light-and-sound installations and kink-themed rooms offering aural, visual, and sensual surprises on multiple levels of the venue.

In the main room, DJs Micky Freidmann (Avalon LA, 136* Hamburg, Utopia Warsaw, Bootleg, Berlin, Score Miami) and Binomio (Strong Madrid, BearZone Madrid) along with Eduardo de la Torre (Propoganda Berlin, Matinee London, 136* Hamburg) will provide sexy progressive beats, inspiring our troupe of performers to gyrate, pulsate, bump, grind, and show off their talents.

Suzie Kruger (of Fist and Hard On fame) will be hosting the Hard ON room, with DJs Brent Nicholls (Lovechild, Hard On, Pervert Gold London), Hugo’sland (Hard On) and HiFi Sean serving up a tougher sound for the more adventurous. Suzie’s playroom and performers will add the perverse, exploratory dimension that gets 2500+ punters lining up every year for another dose of HustlaBall Berlin.

Internationally renowned porn director Chi Chi LaRue will be in the VIP room to put pornstars and guests alike through their paces and no doubt light everyone’s fuses.

Eduardo de la Torre has loved house music since he first started clubbing back home in Venezuela. After finishing high school and with more time to dedicate to music, he began mixing records he had collected. Eduardo moved to Spain and experienced the best clubs in from Barcelona to Madrid, even experiencing a bit of Holland's club sound. Soon after he moved to Germany with all his DJ equipment, played sets in a venue called Generation Bar where he learnt from other DJs. He played for events including Hamburg Pride 2007 -2009, Gay Happening, Pearls of the Night, Clubs United Hamburg, Gay Convention Krefeld to name a few. His first gigs in London were at Heaven London and Future (Colosseum). He moved to London to dedicate 100% of his time to his passion. He loves the connection he makes with the crowd though music, and enjoys playing all kinds of house music: funky, tribal, latin, vocal, electro - anything good that will fill the dance floor. Eduardo held a monthly residency at Matinee London for over 2 years before moving back in Germany, and settled in Berlin where he is currently finishing his degree as a electronic music producer.

STOP PRESS: “Must See” act Kraak & Smaak to top the bill at Hustlaball London 2010

Championed by gossip guru Perez Hilton and Radio 1’s Annie Mac and Pete Tong, Kraak & Smaak are one of the most successful music exports to come from the Netherlands. Made up of a trio of electro-breaks producers, Kraak & Smaak translates into “crunch and taste,” a phrase lifted from a Dutch proverb. IDJ Magazine rated them a “must see live act” alongside The Prodigy, Chemical Brothers and Moby, and they have been invited to perform guest DJ mixes on Radio 1.

This rare and exclusive live DJ set at the Hustlaball London 2010 will showcase their trademark tough electro house sound, with plenty of exclusive material.

Orange-Hustla with Circus @ FIRE, Vauxhall

Orange-Hustla with Circus @ FIRE, Vauxhall

Monday 3rd May 2010 from

Advanced Tickets @ Gay Go

OrangeHustlaAs ever in Vauxhall, the party continues with Orange-Hustla at FIRE for the hardcore, debauched and insatiable party animals, with Circus taking over the Light Box to give Hustlaball a more vanilla flavour for the light-hearted. Each room has its own list of DJs to give the clubber an exciting and memorable morning after the main event.

In the Main Room - Terry Brian, The Oli, Sharp Boys and Paul Martin keep “all things orange” with a blend of their progressive, funky, vocal mix while through the Mirror Arch - Alan X Cross, Steve Redant and Jack Chang keep the tempo on the dance floor quite eclectic with uplifting latin, tribal to deep progressive sets.

Circus will be taking over the Light Box to shake things up and give the Hustlaball some carnival colour. Ringleader Jodie Harsh will be joined by Kris di Angelis on the decks, New York club legend Andre J on the mic and a gaggle of Circus clowns on the go-go box, as well as a specially programmed light show in this brilliant room of luminosity.

The Lounge will feature HiFi Sean, Stewart Who? and Steven Artis while Gonzalo, David Jiminez, Gabriele Cutrano spin in the Red Room.

DJ Notes

Steven Redant already had a popular house radio show and decided it was time to get out of his studio and into the clubs after a good friend and DJ advised him it was time to “do something with music”, because he really had “good taste of music, better than most of his colleagues”. Things really took off, with three residencies: WADklub at Queen in Paris, Red & Blue in Antwerp and La Démence in Brussels. Steven also has a quite popular podcast with a fan base of over 40.000 growing week by week, and currently has his residency at La Démence, at the recently revived Discotheque in Barcelona (home) and KEN LOVES YOU at Space Ibiza during the summer and is wildly popular on the guest circuit too.

Jack Chang first took to the decks at the Freedom Café, London. Following a successful year there, Jack's funky house beginning rewarded him with his first residency at Love Muscle, at The Fridge in London. Jack soon saw that the funky house sound was becoming stale and he began to search for a new, more challenging sound.

Since 2003 Jack has become renowned in the global dance world with his unique blend of Latin/Asian underground house. His debut in the US at Palm Springs for the Hustlaball Pool Party, and his European debut in Germany at Folsom Europe's first ever closing party in 2003 was a thrilling success. Jack's success is not due to a single sound - his rhythmic, hypnotic sounds have been adapted to a more vocal, uplifting sound for mainstream events such as PiG Berlin, KitKat Club, Hustlaball, London, Loveball in Barcelona, Greenkomm in Cologne, headlining The Dome at Sydney Mardi Gras, Playgrounds in Amsterdam, with continued appearances at his residency in Rapido, also in Amsterdam. Jack’s real success has been keeping the crowds at the biggest fetish events in Europe thrilled with his dark tribal beats. His clockwork mixing technique has both delighted and thrilled dance addicts and the fetish crowd, and also drawn both admiration and envy from fellow DJs around the world.

Jodie Harsh is the blonde hair and brains behind Circus and an international DJ. A vision in hot pink lipstick with a big box of house and electro tricks, Jodie has played Pacha (Ibiza), Glastonbury Festival, Matter and Ministry of Sound, and toured the world with Manumission. As well as Gatecrasher residencies and an EP of dance production in the works, Jodie is bringing Circus back as a bigger monthly party from April.

Legendary Circus resident disc jockey Kris di Angelis has become one of THE hottest names to drop in sophisticated dance circles. His incredible musical knowledge and breathtaking technical ability have seen him picked up by the likes of Defected, Space, and Caligula. Meanwhile his own productions and remixes for artists like Roisin Murphy, Groove Armada, Lily Allen, and Mariah Carey have been hammered the world over.

For six months Circus host Andre J has made London his home. The gender-less beauty was a legendary New York club figure, working for Patricia Field, but opted for a trans-Atlantic change and ended up in our beautiful city. He's a French Vogue cover star, an MC, and a catwalk extraordinaire.
